Description of Position

Working as part of a team, this critical, high-exposure functional role will report into the Services Operations organization and liaison with finance on projects and operations related to systems and applications supporting the clients finance function.

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, or finance with a minimum of 5+ years in the finance/accounting field

·       A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Dynamics AX/365 in a functional consulting, system administration, operations, or power-user role working with accounting or other finance systems

·       Demonstrated ability to act as a bridge between accounting and technology staff

·       Experience within the corporate accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, FA) or fund accounting functions either in a line or support role

·       Experience with Project Management and Accounting (PMA) module highly desired

·       Must be detail oriented and self-motivated, enjoy complex challenges, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have a positive attitude, the ability to multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, high growth team environment

·       Exhibit intellectual curiosity with strong problem-solving, strategic thinking skills.

·       Strong excel skills highly desired

Principal Responsibilities

·       Act as the first line of support, working with finance application users to troubleshoot, control, and extend the use of assigned modules

·       Assist in the oversight role on any items delivered by technology (internal or external) to the business

·       Assist with developing and growing a power user community in the business

·       Responsible for understanding how financial data is used within the business and how that data is accurately setup and maintained within the finance systems

·       Develop and maintain user documentation, support finance users onboarding, and establish repeatable and efficient system usage

·       Conduct ad-hoc and reoccurring training on the system

·       Play a key role in all projects related to the system, be those upgrades, modifications, or enhancements

·       Understand and monitor applicable interfaces to and from finance systems

·       Work with users to help develop requirements and designs

·       Establish quality procedures, to include system testing and user testing

·       Ensure reporting, both ad-hoc and formatted, is standardized and leveraged across the organization
