What all business have in common is that they strive to be more data-driven to better understand their customers, market, and competitors. Google Cloud’s Director of Product Management, Data Analytics, Sudhir Hasbe, and Google Cloud Product Manager Ryan Lippert, unpack the three core factors which lead businesses to becoming data-driven: a) data availability, b) data access, and c) insight access.
These three factors have effectively become “democratised”, so that businesses can be managed not just top-down, but are agile enough to be managed in all possible directions and levels. A recent paper from Google Cloud and the Harvard Business Review confirms this: 97% of industry leaders surveyed said democratising access to data and analytics across the organisation is important to business success.
